IMMPA maintains a 50-50 member ratio between planners and suppliers. In order for a supplier to join, they will need to equate their registration with a planner registration.

Annual Membership Dues: $200.00 USD

• Corporate Medical Meeting Professional - a person who is primarily employed by a healthcare/medical corporation to plan and/or manage logistics of that corporation's meetings.
• Association/Non-Profit Meeting Professional - a person who is primarily employed by a medical/healthcare association or not-for-profit organization to plan logistics of that organization's meetings.
• Medical Med-Ed Meeting Professional - a person who is employed by a medical education agency to plan and/or organize the strategic content management and logistics of that med-ed entitity. Individuals serving as faculty in a university should join as an Academic Professional.

Annual Membership Dues: $300.00 USD

• Supplier membership is available to those individuals primarily engaged in supplying goods and services to the medical/healthcare industry. Suppliers may include, but are not limited to audio-visual, staffing, hotels and venues, transportation, destination management, and production.

Annual Membership Dues: $150.00 USD

• Faculty member's primary employment, remuneration, direction and efforts must be in a recognized academic institution; who is primarily employed by a university and teaches within the meeting/hospitality, healthcare management or any related fields relevant to medical meeting planning.
• Applicant must be considered an employee within their university.
• Applicant must submit proof of academic employment with this application and should provide proof on an annual basis to retain their faculty membership. (Proof of academic employment should be on employer's letterhead and include validation of employment, courses and signature of departmental head.)

Annual Membership Dues: $75.00 USD

• Current full-time status (20+ hours - provide current transcript)
• Provide school name and current phone number of admissions office
• Include copy of student ID
• Student membership is limited to 4 years.
• Above information must be verified on an annual basis.
• Class emphasis must be on meeting management, hospitality studies or healthcare related course study.

Annual Membership Dues: $75.00 USD

• Formally active as a medical planner but no longer working in health care field.

Annual Membership Dues: $200.00 USD

• Professional consultant member employed by a health care institution, firm, or company.

IMMPA membership belongs to the individual supplier or planner who originally joins the association, even if the employer paid for it. Member dues are non-refundable and are due annually on January 1st of each year. Dues quoted are subject to change.
